I am an intern from Metropolitan State University pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. I am currently in my last semester and looking forward to graduation this December! I had the chance to study aboard in Beijing, China in 2013, living locally and traveling to many parts of the country. My favorite memories from my time living abroad include visiting the impressive rice terrace, hiking and camping on the Great Wall of China!

I am bilingual in Hmong and English and also speak a bit of Mandarin. Currently I provide Driving with Care Education and Therapy at Pangea Care. I also co-facilitate the Men in Recovery group, men’s mental health sessions and provide case management. My clinical approach is client-centered.

Outside of work, I run the Asian Student Organization at Metro State as the Advisor and am also in the process of creating the Hmong Student Organization. During my free time I love to go jogging, biking, do long road trips, spend time with my dog and go camping.
