I retired a few years ago as a clinical psychologist and manager for Hennepin County’s Community Services Department. There I did assessments, psychotherapy, and managed a county-wide collaborative that included 18 school districts and the Department of Juvenile Corrections. I also shared management responsibilities for the Developmental Disabilities and Child Protection Programs. Before leaving, I worked extensively with homeless adults. After retiring, I became the Behavioral Health Director of a co-occurring disorders program.

I enjoy working with a variety of cultures and that was one of the main attractions of coming to a place like Pangea. Much of my career interest has been around learning and teaching about the value of diversity, and how each culture has both unique and important contributions that make us all better together.
